Brittany has shown tremendous courage in her fight against bone cancer.  The anticipation of meeting President George W. Bush kept her spirits up, and finally Brittany and her family were able to travel to Washington and meet the President, First Lady Laura Bush, and enjoy a surprise visit from the "First Dogs."  Afterwards, Brittany enjoyed a private tour of the White House.  Our special thanks to Chad and Hilda Horne, the Washington Hilton Towers and gifts in memory of Kevin LaPlante for making this special dream come true.

James (left) is all about fishing.  Many chemotherapy treatments are followed by fishing trips on the waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.  When given the opportunity to have a dream-come-true, this experienced angler had no doubt-sailfishing in Costa Rica.  Special friends of the Children's Dream Fund, Jim and Kristi Helinger, Bob and Charlane Burnside, and board member Chuck LaMar, joined forces and made James' trip to Costa Rica one he will never forget.
